We arrived to find it blazing high in the sky—definitely something to keep in mind for your family photoshoot planning! But hey, a little sun never stopped us!

I absolutely love the rocks right at the end of North Curl Curl Beach; they offer some fantastic shade and create that soft, dreamy light that’s just perfect for family photos. We explored around the rocks, and once the sun decided to chill a bit and dropped lower in the sky, we shifted our focus to the gorgeous golden hour light.

This spot has my heart, not just for the endless ocean views but also for those unique rock formations that turn the backdrop into something special.

Just a little heads up, though—this place is a hot spot for families, so if you’re aiming for a weekend photoshoot, you might find yourself sharing the beach with a few too many other families!
