Family Photoshoot in Mangrove Mountain, Central Coast
When I got a call from the eldest daughter of this wonderful family, I could already tell this was going to be a special session. She and her siblings have been planning a family photoshoot with their dogs for their mom—a family photoshoot at their private property in Mangrove Mountain, Central Coast. From our very first conversation, she was amazing at organizing every detail to make sure the session was perfect.
But this wasn’t just any family photoshoot. Alongside the family members, their four beloved dogs also joined in! A Bull Terrier, a Great Dane, and two little Fox Terriers made the session even more fun and lively. As a photographer who is travelling to Central Coast and is dog-friendly family photographer, I absolutely love including pets in my sessions. I have plenty of tricks to keep them engaged, and I always encourage capturing those, playful moments too (even if you might not choose those photos as they may look messy)!
The Beauty of a Private Property family Photoshoot with your dogs
Mangrove Mountain provided the most stunning setting for this family session. With its green fields and tall trees, the property felt like the perfect backdrop for timeless family portraits with the dogs. We timed the shoot perfectly, starting when the sun was already low enough to cast that dreamy golden glow, and we kept going until it set completely behind the trees.
Throughout the session, the family showed me their favourite spots—their favourite tree, a special place in the garden, and even a simple backdrop near the shed they envisioned for a few classic portraits. The dogs had the best time too, of course, enjoying some extra treats along the way!
A Record-Breaking Dog-Friendly Family Photoshoot
Five dogs in one photoshoot—now that must be a personal record for me! At the end of the session, we even took a few heartwarming photos of Granny with her little Yorkshire Terrier, making sure every family member (furry ones included) had their moment to shine.
As a family photographer in New South Wales, I’m always excited to capture genuine connections, whether it’s between parents and children, siblings, or even families and their beloved pets. This Central Coast family photoshoot was a beautiful reminder of how special these moments are.

While this location isn’t one I visited before, the drive alone was worth it—rolling paddocks, peaceful landscapes, and a true countryside feel. It was the perfect setting for a relaxed, meaningful session. I loved every minute of it! With that being said I'm not just simply a Sydney dog friendly family photographer, I do travel to take dog friendly family photoshoot in the Central Coast or any other location in NSW too.
