Balmoral Beach is such a popular spot for any family photographer in Sydney. Every time I’m there, it feels like a mini photography hub—there’s always at least two or three other family photoshoots happening at the same time. This goes to show just how loved this location is by everyone.
This wonderful family lives in Mosman, so it made perfect sense to choose Balmoral Beach for their pregnancy photoshoot. When it comes to planning family photos, it’s always a challenge to find the right time. Is morning better for kids, or is evening the sweet spot? Luckily, this family are morning people, and they were all in for capturing the beauty of sunrise. So we set out to make their pregnancy photoshoot extra special by catching those stunning early morning colours at Balmoral Beach.

During our pregnancy photoshoot at Balmoral Beach, we had a blast exploring the area together. First, we made our way to a little island where a lovely tree served as our backdrop. Ludo climbed and played, adding a playful touch to our session. Afterward, we strolled down to the soft sand, capturing joyful moments with the gentle waves and rocky outcrops as our scenery.
We even walked all the way to the end of Edwards Beach, where we snapped a few more beautiful shots. It was such a nice walk and an amazing way to celebrate this pregnancy. Honestly, it doesn’t get better than this for a family photoshoot!
